Is Your Peace Based on Faith or Feelings?

Many Christians doubt their salvation, asking,
“If I’m really saved, why don’t I feel it?”

❖ Believing Peace

Salvation’s joy and peace come from faith, not feelings:

“Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God…” (Romans 5:1-2)

Feelings often mislead—believing must come first, without doubt:

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.” (Romans 15:13)

❖ Unchanging Peace

Christ’s peace is based on His unchanging blood, not on our shifting feelings:

“…made peace through the blood of His cross.” (Colossians 1:20)

This peace is as permanent as God Himself.

❖ Enjoying Peace

Enjoy peace by trusting what God has done, not by how you feel.

“He … is our peace.” (Ephesians 2:14)

Like a strong bridge, God’s peace holds regardless of doubt or feeling.

❖ Restoring Peace

Peace and joy may wane if we sin, but the peace God made remains.

Confess sins:

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us…” (1 John 1:9)

God restores joy and peace through faith, not feelings. Let peace rule your heart. (Colossians 3:15)
