A Tragic End

What happened? On her way home, Patty's car was hit broadside at an intersection. Despite efforts to save her, she arrived cold and lifeless at the hospital—a devastating end for someone so young with such potential.

Patty never anticipated it would be her last time seeing her loved ones. She departed school that day planning to return soon, but sadly, she did not.

The Preciousness of Life

Life is fleeting, yet we often disregard its brevity, taking our next breath for granted. As valuable as life is, it can end abruptly, much like Patty's story.

A Critical Oversight

The problem with Patty was her failure to prepare for what comes after death—not in terms of material concerns like a will or insurance, but ensuring eternal life in heaven.

God offers a gift beyond earthly existence: eternal life with Jesus Christ. However, Jesus had to sacrifice Himself so we might escape hell and embrace this heavenly life. In our neglect of life's brevity, we often overlook the magnificent promise of new life through Jesus Christ.

The Reality of Sin

Every person who has ever lived has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). As sinners, heaven is inaccessible to us since “the wages of sin is death.” Yet, there's hope—the gift from God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romains 6:23).

A Call to Action

Seize the Gift

How can we not accept this wonderful and FREE gift? Don't be like Patty—full of life but indifferent about her eternal destiny. Plan for eternity now; you never know when it might come.

Embrace the greatest gift available, promising a future more valuable than any wealth. Offer your life to Jesus Christ, confess your sins, and trust in Him as your Savior.

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved!” (Romans 10:9).
